The Hispanic Caucus of the United Methodist Church and Methodist Church of Puerto Rico is MARCHA (Methodist Associated Representing the Cause of Hispanic Americans).
Hispanic Heritage Month
National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from Sept. 15-Oct. 15 in the United States to celebrate the culture and traditions of Hispanic Americans. The observance begins in mid-September because Sept. 15 is the anniversary of independence for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua; Sept. 16 is independence day for Mexico; and Sept. 18 for Chile.
