Eastern Shore District
The church experiences God's mission as it pours itself out for others, crossing all boundaries to identify with the struggles and needs, the yearnings and sorrows, the joys and fears, the confusion and doubt, and the quest for true human dignity among all people everywhere, especially those regarded as the least of God's children.

Eastern Shore Hispanic Ministry

The Eastern Shore United Methodist Church Hispanic ministry is an ongoing ministry to the migrant people that work on our beautiful shores. There is a constant need for youth of high school and college age to help with all sorts of projects to include: the sorting of clothing, shoes, and house wares, general cleaning and rearranging, lawn and building maintenance, working in the food bank, and short trips to the camps for play, prayer, and Bible Study time. There is a need for a computer smart youth to help in office organization through excel. We welcome all with open arms and thank them with warm hearts. If your heart seems to be calling you to help the poorest of the poor, the least, the lost and the last, that live among us please contact us.

Agape Christian Children's Community Center

The community center offers preschool and after school programs for children from 2 ½ to age 9.  Children’s creativity is encouraged with art activities, dress-up play, stories and games. The nurturing environment teaches children to respect themselves and others. During the school year, volunteers 16 and older are needed as classroom assistants with the school program to help teachers with crafts, songs, games, and learning activities. They are now also open all summer and need youth teams to help with the children during the day and give VBS to the older children from the community in the evenings. Occasionally there is work to be done around the grounds to maintain the property and keep it safe for the children.
