Angie Williams, Youth, Young Adults and Singles Office
Prior to coming to work for the Virginia Conference, I was a local church youth minister for 10 years, serving in the Peninsula, Norfolk, and Richmond districts. I also served as the Peninsula District youth coordinator for two years and as the chairperson of the Conference Council on Youth Ministries from 2000-2004. I have a B.A. in Religion/Biblical Studies from William & Mary and I completed my course work for certification in Youth Ministry through Wesley Theological Seminary. I am married to Jeff Williams, my high school sweetheart, and we are both natives of Chesapeake, Virginia. Jeff is an Information Technology Specialist for the Virginia Department of Social Services. Together we are the proud adoptive parents of our amazing teenage daughter Sharon! We also have two extremely energetic and playful miniature pinscher dogs who constantly keep us laughing. In my personal time, the activities that I find most enjoyable are spending quality time with family and friends, listening to the newest praise music, and painting. |
