Virginia Conference Web Site

The Virginia Conference Web site plays a vital role in disseminating information to members of the annual conference and also receiving information from clergy.

Each summer and fall, clergy are asked to enter Pastor Profiles and Church and Community Profiles into the database via the conference Web site.

Local churches enter statistical table data and local church officers’ names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses which is then input into the main conference database, the Raiser’s Edge.

It is imperative that any changes of address, phone numbers, e-mail, etc., be reported immediately throughout the year to Brenda Capen, P.O. Box 1719, Glen Allen, VA 23060, phone 1-800-768-6040 or (804) 521-1100, ext. 116, or e-mail communications@vaumc.org

The Virginia Conference does not offer Web hosting services, however, the General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM) offers this service free of charge to local churches. Visit http://gbgm-umc.org/churches/ for more information.
