Provision and repair of wells; hygiene/sanitation education.
Description
Every well is built within the United Methodist Church area for safety and maintenance, but the beneficiaries are all the villagers, regardless of their church domination or religious status.
The project has completed its first phase program, hiring some industrial companies to drill for the church on projects selected at a national level; north, center and south of Mozambique.
The Missouri Conference and other donor organizations and individuals, have donated drilling equipment to Living Water for the second phase operations, drilling and repairing wells, and hygiene and sanitation training for a self sustaining program.
Mozambique Initiative in corporation with Life Water International has trained three teams for the above operations. They are only waiting on funding to start work.
