“Any organization, clergy member, or lay member of The United Methodist Church may petition the General Conference. . .”  (¶507, The Book of Discipline)  

 Petitions to the 2008 General Conference must be submitted in a format and time frame specified in the pdf document that can be opened by clicking here.

Proposed resolutions by The Virginia Annual Conference in support of petitions to General Conference must be submitted to the United Methodist Center in Glen Allen by Friday, March 9.   (PO Box 1719, Glen Allen, VA 23060)
