Regional Disaster Trailers are available for use by work teams for trips in or out of state.If you would like to use one of the trailers, contact the person listed below as responsible for the trailer and make a request. The Conference Trailer stays within the bounds of the Virginia Conference.
If you are interested in outfitting your own local church or district trailer, please see the equipment list on pages 51-54 of the Conference Disaster Plan (available on the website at http://www.vaumc.org/repository/Disaster/DisasterPlanAug06.doc ).Upkeep and insurance on these trailers are the responsibility of the local church or district.
If you wish to contribute to upkeep and replacement of equipment for the regional and conference trailers, you may send a check made payable to the Virginia United Methodist Conference, noting in the memo line that it is for the Disaster Relief Fund (acct. 655), and mailed to:Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church, Attn: Martha Stokes, PO Box 1719, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
