“Res-Net” (for Resolutions Net), an unmoderated conference electronic discussion group (e-group), has been established by the Common Table to allow discussion of the 12 resolutions not addressed at the 2006 Annual Conference in Hampton. This forum will allow for views to be expressed by Annual Conference members (lay and clergy) and members of Virginia Conference United Methodist churches who wish to participate in this ongoing discussion.  

The 12 resolutions are posted in their entirety on the conference website, along with relevant Disciplinary paragraphs. Statements from the makers of each resolution and the board or agency to which each resolution had been referred are also be posted as part of the discussion.

9. Make use of facilitators and mediators where communication can be served by it.
10. Always remember that people are defined, ultimately, by their relationship with God--not by the flaws we discover or think we discover in their views and actions.
