Banquets

A professional meeting planner will once again be working to reduce costs of banquet meals at annual conference. He will be making the arrangements for all banquets that will not be held at churches. He will negotiate on the conference’s behalf with the area restaurants to get the best possible prices.

Organizations wishing to schedule dinner banquets, breakfasts, or lunches should send all requests for banquet needs to the Rev. Brian K. Brown, banquet coordinator, so that he may pass along the appropriate requests to the meeting planner. Organizations are advised not to make arrangements for banquets at local restaurants on their own because costs may be higher than they need be. If reservations are made by individual organizations, please let Brown know the day, time, and place. Banquets not reported to him will not be included in the official listing of banquets in the worship service booklet, the Virginia Advocate, nor on the conference Web site.
