On October 10, 2007, a meeting will take place for all VAUMC interested Faith Community Nurses, Parish Nurses and Faith Community Nurse Coordinators.
 
The purpose of this meeting is to determine the future of the Fellowship of Virginia United Methodist Conference Faith Community Nurses organization (FVAUMCFCN). The FVAUMCFCN has had a limited scope of service within the conference and participation over the last 4 years has been very limited. We would like to discuss the needs of the FCN/FCN Coordinators, congregations and communities and how the FVAUMCFCN should and/or can support health ministries in this Conference. The meeting place will be the Virginia United Methodist Conference Center in Glen Allen, Rooms 110 - 111. The meeting will begin at 1:00 PM and end by 3:00 PM. Some of the attendees will be traveling several hours or more for this meeting and have agreed to have lunch together and meet/greet prior to the start of the meeting. If you would like to join us, please feel free to do so. Just bring your lunch and beverage and meet us at the Conference Center in Rooms 110 – 111 around 12 noon.
