Alexandria District Administrative Assistant
The Alexandria District of the UMC, with offices located in Fairfax VA, is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The qualified candidate must have outstanding people skills and be able to work with clergy, senior church leaders, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity as needed. The candidate should have knowledge and experience in modern office practices, be proficient in office related procedures, be able to prepare effective correspondence on routine matters and to dispose of minor business without reference to a supervisor. Youth Director

Academic Instructor
Pathways, a not-for-profit, faith-based community development corporation in Petersburg, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Academic Instructor for its youth/young adult workforce development, leadership and education programs. Programs focus on youth ages 17-24 that are out of school and looking to gain skills in job training, leadership, and academics. Responsibilities include coordination of academic program using a hybrid model of in class and online learning, individual and group instruction in High School Diploma and GED preparation, development of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), remedial instruction, and college preparation.
